Empowering Chicago's Youth through RYOT

At RYOT, we are dedicated to providing at-risk, low-income inner-city youth in the Chicago area with positive alternatives to gangs, drugs, truancy, violence, and the juvenile justice system. Through partnerships with local school districts and the juvenile court system, we foster pro-social friendships, strong interpersonal skills, and a sense of hope for the future.

Our programs focus on middle and high school youths, offering a range of activities such as Drill Team, Dance Squads, Cheerleading, Choir, Drumline, Culinary Arts, Photography, Cosmetology, Media Journalism, Horticulture, Basketball, Flag Football, Softball, and Mentorship Programs. Each youth is paired with a mentor for 12 months, participating in weekly activities designed to build confidence and hopefulness.

By creating a caring and inclusive learning environment, we help young people regain faith in their potential and promote their best efforts. Our goal is to empower Chicago's youth to make positive changes in their lives and build a brighter future.
